Cardless Wallet Challenge
We’re at the brink of a new digital revolution in banking
Ready to go cardless?
Consumers are moving towards a mobile first lifestyle, where they utilize their phone or tablet for the majority of their banking and daily financing needs.
FFCON is launching Canada’s first ever Cardless Wallet Challenge!
We are looking for some adventurous Canadians to go cardless, and fully adopt mobile first banking for all their daily financial needs.
The mission is to explore the upside and downside of using mobile exclusively for banking, and to provide Canadians with key insights into the exciting new opportunities our tech and financial sectors are creating for them.
And it’s only for 14 days (unless you want to keep going).

How the 14 day challenge works
1. Sign-up by clicking the button below
2. Challenge: For the next 14 days, you will go mobile only for all of your daily finance needs (put that card away!).
All you have to do is use your smartphone or tablet to complete all of your daily finance transactions including:
- Payments using your mobile wallet
- Using your banking app for day-to-day banking
The idea is to do your banking and daily finances without using credit cards or going into a physical branch. Now, for some this might be a pretty easy short term transition. But for others, it could be a bit more…interesting.
Share your experience
Inspire others and get featured
All you have to do is report back what you liked, what you didn’t and the things you learned about the process. Canadians, regulators and legislators want to know about your experience, and it’s your opportunity to contribute to the conversation.
Throughout your journey share your experience using hashtag #CardlessWallet #FFCON20 on your social media channels and tag @NCFACanada @TFI_Canada @FintechGrowthSyndicate so we can see your progress! After 14 days, let us know how you did! What were the challenges and what were the easy wins?
The best insights from challenge participants will be featured at the FFCON 20: RISE event on July 8-9 in Toronto and appear in a post-conference digital magazine
